Dec 12 2012 DVD screencaptures and video clips from “Foster” have been added to the site. Before you start scratching your head because you’ve never heard of this film – don’t worry. “Foster”, which is based on a short film by director Jonathan Newman (who has also helmed this feature version), has been made over two years ago in London, but never found its way into theaters. In early 2012, it received a limited release in Australia and the United Kingdom and has been released on DVD in both countries since then. Apart from captures of the film, there are also pictures from the making of, stills and an interview with Toni Collette. As for the clips, you can watch the trailer, a featurette, an interview with Toni as well as three excerpts from the film in the video archive. Enjoy the new additions. More information, production notes and a review will follow in time. Feb 25 2012 I’ve added a bunch of new production stills and on-set pictures of Toni’s upcoming comedy drama “Foster”, which now has a theatrical release for the United Kingdom on July 01, 2012. The pictures come from the film’s official Facebook page, check it out for more information on the film. Dec 20 2011 The first few minutes from the upcoming “Foster” have been uploaded on Youtube, have a look at the clip below. I love Toni’s accent :-) Sep 25 2011 One of Toni’s most recent feature films, “Foster”, will celebrate its world-premiere at this year’s Rome International Film Festival. Looking to adopt a child and unable to conceive a child of their own, the Morrison’s (Toni Collette and Ioan Gruffudd) lives are turned upside down when a 7 year old boy unexpectedly shows up on their doorstep. Foster co-stars Richard E Grant, Oscar winner Hayley Mills and newcomer Maurice Cole. In the wake of this news, a first still and poster have been released. Jun 21 2011 With yesterday’s series finale of “United States of Tara”, Toni Collette won’t be a weekly regular on television anymore, at least not for now. For all wondering what will be next, Toni has wrapped three films already and another one in the making – so even if “Tara” has ended, Miss Collette’s career will not :-) First in line is the anticipated remake of “Fright Night”, which will premiere in US theaters on August 19, 2011. Then, there are two independent drama comedies with no release date as of now – “Jesus Henry Christ”, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, and “Foster”. This Summer, Toni will also reunite with her “Muriel’s Wedding” director, P.J. Hogan, for the dark Australian comedy “Mental”, in which Toni will play the lead role of Shaz, a nanny hired to look after five sisters after their mother is committed to a mental institution. |
