Nov 23 2012 Many new videos have been added to the archive. First, a clip of Toni’s November 21 appearance on “The Talk” to promote “Hitchcock”. Many thanks to Stephen for helping me with this. HD screencaptures have been added to the image library as well. Then, lenghty new interviews for the film have been released, one with Toni and another one paired with Jessica Biel. Both interviews are really insightful and great to watch. Also added have been two new clips from “Hitchcock” and a new featurette which includes more Toni footage. Enjoy the new clips! Nov 18 2012 Lots of new “Hitchcock” related video clips have been released today and added to the video archive. First, an on-set interview with Toni Collette, talking about her character Peggy Robertson, and working with Anhtony Hopkins and Helen Mirren. Then, the b-roll from the making of the film. And two scenes have been released as well. Enjoy the new clips. Nov 10 2012
Nov 09 2012 An international trailer for “Hitchock” has been released today, featuring lots of new scenes, including – finally – a couple of bits involving Toni as Hitch’s assistant Peggy. The film is set to be released in most European countries February 2012. The new trailer can be watched in the video archive. Oct 10 2012 Fox Searchlight Pictures has unleashed, via iTunes Movie Trailers, this first trailer for Sacha Gervasi’s upcoming biopic ‘Hitchcock.’ ‘Hitchcock’ chronicles the making of the seminal 1960 Alfred Hitchcock suspense horror ‘Psycho,’ with Anthony Hopkins portraying the legendary director. Don’t except too much of Toni though, there a couple of short bits of her at Hitchcock’s tea party scene, standing behind him during the “shower scene” filming and the premiere. The trailer is otherwise great and makes curious for more. “Hitchcock” is based on the book ‘Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho’ by Stephen Rebello. Alongside Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren, the film also stars Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins, Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, Michael Stuhlbarg as Lew Wasserman, Toni Collette as Hitchcock’s secretary Peggy, Michael Wincott as Ed Gein, Kurtwood Smith as Geoffrey Shurlock, Richard Portnow as Barney Balaban, and Danny Huston as Whitfield Cook. Fox Searchlight Pictures has announced a November 23rd US release date for Sacha Gervasi‘s film. Sep 18 2012 A fan’s greatest gift is when old and unseen interviews surface, and this has happened with these incredible video clips from the Australian programme “The Movie Show”. First, there’s a report on the 1994 Cannes Film Festival, where “Muriel’s Wedding” had its world-premiere, featuring interviews with P.J. Hogan and Toni Collette, who was 21 at that time. Then, a 1997 interview with Toni and director David Parker on the release of the ill-fated “Diana and Me”. A 1999 interview with Toni to promote the Australian release of “The Sixth Sense”, as well as a report on the theatrical release of “Japanese Story”. Finally, as a special treat, “The Movie Show” paid a visit to the set of “Muriel’s Wedding” in 1994. This footage was also used for the making of which was later included on the DVD, but this report features an array of additional footage and interviews with the cast and crew, including P.J, Toni, Rachel Griffith and Bill Hunter. Very insightful material and definately a must-see. Enjoy the new clips. |
