Toni has been a guest on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, yesterday, to promote the theatrical release of “The Way, Way Back”. This has been a very entertaining and funny interview – in fact this was Toni’s fifth appearance on the show already. She first appeared in 2005 to promote “In Her Shoes” and returned in 2006, 2009 and 2012. The full appearance can be watched in the video archive. HD screencaptures have been added to the image library.

This is my favorite time when all the promotional videos for an upcoming film are released :-) Fox Searchlight is good to us with various new clips for “The Way, Way Back”: A new trailer, featurette, and b-roll, as well as a compilation of television spots, a promotional interview with Toni Collette and a clip from the film have been added to the video archive. The Los Angeles premiere for “The Way, Way Back” will be held this Sunday, so expect more coverage on the film. For now, enjoy the new clips.

CBS has launched the first pictures and a video preview for “Hostages”, which hails from Jeffrey Nachmanoff and Warner Bros. Television. The series is based on an Israeli format and follows a surgeon who is selected to operate on the President of the United States and finds herself drawn into a political conspiracy.

Hostages, from executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, is a high-octane suspense drama starring Emmy Award winner Toni Collette as a premiere surgeon thrust into a chilling political conspiracy when her family is taken hostage by rogue FBI Agent Duncan Carlisle (Dylan McDermott). Dr. Ellen Sanders (Collette) and her family are held captive in their home by Carlisle, a desperate man

doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, who orders her to assassinate the President (James Naughton) when she operates on him. His highly skilled accomplices include his brother-in-law Kramer (Rhys Coiro), whose loyalty to Carlisle will be tested; quick-tempered and intimidating Archer (Billy Brown), an ex-military man with a razor-sharp tongue; and the only woman involved, Sandrine (Sandrine Holt), a mysterious last-minute replacement to the team. With her family’s life in peril, Ellen faces an incomprehensible moral dilemma in order to save her overbearing husband Brian (Tate Donovan), her secretive daughter Morgan (Quinn Shephard) and her not-so-innocent son Jake (Mateus Ward). In this high-stakes standoff between Ellen and Carlisle, fraught with tremendous national and personal consequences, the choices between right and wrong become even more blurred.

How very exciting to see Toni headlining a tv series once again. Besides above’s video preview and first production stills, HD captures from the featurette have been added to the gallery.

Today, the theatrical trailer for “The Way Way Back” has been launched and it looks really promising. The dramatic comedy, written and directed by Nat Faxon, Jim Rash, features an all-star cast including Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Allison Janney, Annasophia Robb, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Rob Corddry, Amanda Peet and Liam James. “The Way Way Back” releases US theaters on July 5, 2013. You can watch the trailer in the video archive. Additionally, HD screencaptures from the trailer have been added to the gallery as well.

The film’s official website has been launched as well with a more in-depth synopis: THE WAY, WAY BACK is the funny and poignant coming of age story of 14-year-old Duncan’s (Liam James) summer vacation with his mother, Pam (Toni Collette), her overbearing boyfriend, Trent (Steve Carell), and his daughter, Steph (Zoe Levin). Having a rough time fitting in, the introverted Duncan finds an unexpected friend in gregarious Owen (Sam Rockwell), manager of the Water Wizz water park. Through his funny, clandestine friendship with Owen, Duncan slowly opens up to and begins to finally find his place in the world – all during a summer he will never forget.

DVD screencaptures of one of Toni’s more recent films, “Jesus Henry Christ”, have been added to the gallery. Filmed in 2010, it failed to win audiences (and a distributor) after its Tribeca premiere and has been released on DVD in the USA and Europe since. The film is indeed disappointing because it seems to reach for the heights but fails, I’ll be putting up a more detailed review soon. Still, it has Michael Sheen and Toni Collette, so it’s watchable of course. To launch the new pictures, just click one of the previews below. Additionally, a couple of new production stills have been added as well.

Also, three clips from the film have been added to the video archive (the trailer has been oline for a while as well). Have a look at the previews below.

DVD screencaptures and video clips from “Foster” have been added to the site. Before you start scratching your head because you’ve never heard of this film – don’t worry. “Foster”, which is based on a short film by director Jonathan Newman (who has also helmed this feature version), has been made over two years ago in London, but never found its way into theaters. In early 2012, it received a limited release in Australia and the United Kingdom and has been released on DVD in both countries since then. Apart from captures of the film, there are also pictures from the making of, stills and an interview with Toni Collette.

As for the clips, you can watch the trailer, a featurette, an interview with Toni as well as three excerpts from the film in the video archive. Enjoy the new additions. More information, production notes and a review will follow in time.
