Here’s another great find from the archives. In 2000, Toni received a Tony Award nomination as Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for playing Queenie in “The Wild Party”, only months after receiving an Oscar nomination for “The Sixth Sense”. The Tony went to Heather Headley for “Aida”. But maybe, with the recent news of Toni’s return to Broadway in “The Realistic Joneses”, we’ll be seeing her at the ceremony again soon. |
Here comes a great blast from the past! In 1997, a 25-year-old Toni Collette (who had lost her hair in Mexico after too many Tequila) attended the Australian variety program Hey Hey It’s Saturday to promote the theatrical release of “Diana and Me”. Additionally to the video, screencaptures have been added to the gallery. Credit goes to Jason Kelly for uploading it in the first place. |
Yesterday, Toni has been a guest on CBS’ This Morning to promote the season premiere of “Hostages”. The full interview can be watched in the video archive while screencaptures have been added to the gallery.
A bunch of new video clips have been added to the video archive. There’s a set-report from “Hostages” by Entertainment Tonight, an interview with Toni and Dylan McDermott by E! Entertainment. Then, a selection of commercials and a second featurette for the series premiere as well as a first clip and b-roll for “Enough Said”. Enjoy the new clips.
Yesterday, Toni has attended the Late Show with David Letterman to promote the premiere of “Hostages”. (September 23, 2013). It was a short but funny interview, cleaning up with all prejudices on deadly Australian animals and some jokes about Toni’s American accent. The full segment can be watched in the video archive.
Additionally to the video, pictures from her arrival have been added to the image library, as well as HD screencaptures from the programme.
Media coverage from the Toronto Film Festival, as well as new promotional videos for “Enough Said” have been added to the archive. First, there’s Fox Searchlight’s making of featurette for the film, including on-set footage and interviews with the cast and crew. Then, clips of Toni’s TIFF appearances at the Variety Studio conversation, the “Enough Said” premiere and the film’s press conference, also featuring director Nicole Holocener and actors Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Catherine Keener and Toni.
