Here comes a rare addition to the galleries. In 1990, Toni made her very first appearance on television on the long-running Australian soap “A Country Practice“. In the episode “The Sting, Part 1”, she played a homeless girl called Tracey, who, at 17, is expecting her third child (!) Original credit goes to austvclassics. The caps’ quality is not the very best, but a nice addition anyway.
Arclight Films has published three hilarious production stills from the upcoming Australian comedy “Mental”, directed by P.J. Hogen. You can view the pictures in the gallery – with many thanks to Justine for guiding them to me!
The Daily Telegraph has the very first picture of Toni in character on the Australian “Mental” set: It’s the new movie that reunites director P.J. Hogan with his old Muriel’s Wedding star and it looks like Mental will be as eccentric as Hogan’s previous classic. Collette went on set dressed in character as Shaz, the working-class nanny. The flick co-stars Liev Schrieber and Anthony La Paglia and is Rebecca Gibney’s first big silver-screen foray. Hogan gave an insight into Collette’s character recently, describing Shaz as “hilarious, outrageous, dangerous, courageous, inspiring, heart-breaking and totally, totally mad”. The film, being shot in Queensland, is due next year.
A new production still of “Fright Night”, featuring Toni Collette, Imogen Poots and Anton Yelchin, has been added to the gallery.
