Hello everybody. With not much happening right, I’ve had a look at what material hasn’t been added to the site and found some great treasures from Toni’s early career: Two programmes from her time at the Sydney Theatre Company (found on Flickr with many thanks for sharing such rare finds), as well as production stills from “Muriel’s Wedding”, “The Boys” and “Eight and a Half Women”, among others. Even more production stills from Toni’s earlier films have been added to the photo gallery, featuring some wonderful unseen pictures from “Cosi”, “The Pallbearer”, “Hotel Splendide” and “About a Boy”. Enjoy.

While there’s not much happening right now – at least not regarding Toni’s work and our anticipation towards a first look at Guillermo Del Toro’s “Nightmare Alley”, I went through my archives to add some missing production stills to the photo gallery. The new additions range from the wonderful 1996 Australian independent film “Lilian’s Story” to the most recent “Dream Horse” (if you’ve ever fancied seeing a picture of Toni Collette in a bathtub on the hills of Wales, this is your day :-) For a complete list of new additions, have a look at the list below. The great joy of running a fansite/archive is to come across a rare video or appearance that I have never seen, or, even better, never even knew existed. Such is the case for this 1996 video of baby-faced Toni and Ben Mendelsohn promoting their film “Cosi” on the Australian talkshow “Hey Hey It’s Saturday”. If found the video courtesy a wonderful fansite on Mr. Mendelsohn, which you should pay a visit :-) The appearance can be found in the video archive, screencaptures have been added to the photo gallery.

I’ve made good use of the Holidays to sort out magazine scans and articles that haven’t been posted to the site. My own collection has been updated as well with some fantastic additions from my friend Alvaro, so prepare yourself for a massive update – starting in 1992 with reviews on Toni’s theatre peformances with the Sydney Theatre Company to this year’s promotion for Netflix’ “I’m Thinking Of Ending Things”, and pretty much everything in between.
