Another of Toni’s appearances on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” has been added by the show’s Youtube channel in wonderful quality. In this episode from March 24, 2000, Toni sings “The Lowdown Down” from “The Wild Party”, which was about to open on Broadway on April 13. She also talks about her Oscar nomination for “The Sixth Sense”. A great blast from the past. Toni also attended the show in June of 2000, so fingers crossed for the video to be added in a couple of months.

As a wonderful trip down memory lane, four “older” Toni Collette projects have been re-capped from the Blu-Rays and added to the photo gallery: Clockwatchers, The Pallbearer, Emma and Dinner with Friends. Each of them is recommended for a re-watch – especially Dinner for Friends, an adaptation of the play for HBO, co-starring Greg Kinnear, Dennis Quaid and Andie MacDowell, is so well-made and wonderfully acted. Enjoy the additions.

It’s that quiet time again when we’re eagerly waiting for news on any of Toni’s upcoming projects – and there are plenty of them. In the meantime, I’ve tidied up the archives and have added a couple of magazine scans and articles that are new to the site. It’s a nice trip down memory lane with reviews from the ’00s and ’10s, covering everything from “Little Miss Sunshine” to “A Long Way Down” and “Lucky Them” to “Miss You Already”. A complete list of updates can be found below.

Here comes a great blast from the past. In September of 1999, Toni Collette – looking like the epitome of the late 1990’s – visited The Rosie O’Donnell Show to talk about the ongoing theatrical release of “The Sixth Sense”. The horror film was released in the Summer already and became one of the surprise hits of the year, ultimately earning 5 Academy Awards nominations, including one – shockingly, still the only one – for Collette. It’s a great trip down memory lane, so make sure to catch Toni’s appearance in the video archive. Screencaptures have been added to the photo gallery.

Happy New Year everybody. We’re having an exciting Toni year ahead of us with two anticipated projects – Bong Joon Ho’s “Mickey 17” in March and Clint Eastwood’s “Juror No. 2” later this year. So while we’re waiting, let’s finish the archives for “United States of Tara” with additional production stills, promotionals and on-set pictures of the third and final season. If you’re planning on rewatching Tara (it’s available on a variety of streaming platforms, depending on where you live) or want to revisit your favorite episode, check out the site’s episode guide for all three seasons with synopsis, recaps and screencaptures. Enjoy the new additions.
