As previously announced, “Fright Night” has been released on DVD and Blu Ray today – and I’ve added Blue Ray captures of Toni’s appearance to the gallery. The vampire remake starring Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin and Toni Collette hits Blu-ray in December. In an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Buena Vista says ‘Fright Night’ (Blu-ray/DVD) and ‘Fright Night – 3D’ (Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy) are coming on December 13. The Blu-rays will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtracks, and supplements include: Gag Reel; Kid Cudi Music Video (uncensored version) – “No One Believes Me”; Peter Vincent: Swim Inside My Mind featurette; The Official “How to Make a Funny Vampire Movie” Guide featurette; Frightful Facts & Terrifying Trivia; and 5 Deleted Scenes with intros by Director Craig Gillepsie.

Lionsgate Films have revealed that they are planning a Blu-ray release of Todd Haynes’ Velvet Goldmine (1998), starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ewan McGregor, Toni Collette, Christian Bale and Eddie Izzard. Exact technical specs and region coding status for this release are unknown at the moment, but the preliminary release date set by the studio is December 13th. In 1998, the film was nominated for the prestigious Palme d’Or Award and won Best Artistic Contribution Award at the Cannes Film Festival.

One of Toni’s most recent feature films, “Foster”, will celebrate its world-premiere at this year’s Rome International Film Festival. Looking to adopt a child and unable to conceive a child of their own, the Morrison’s (Toni Collette and Ioan Gruffudd) lives are turned upside down when a 7 year old boy unexpectedly shows up on their doorstep. Foster co-stars Richard E Grant, Oscar winner Hayley Mills and newcomer Maurice Cole. In the wake of this news, a first still and poster have been released.
