Feb 17 2012 According to Screen Daily, Entertainment One (eOne) has acquired all North American rights to Toni Collette/Michael Sheen family comedy “Jesus Henry Christ”. The Red Om Films production directed by Dennis Lee had its premiere at last year’s Tribeca festival and is expected to open in US and Canadian theatres in the spring. Based on Lee’s award-winning short film of the same name, Jesus Henry Christ revolves around a 10-year-old boy genius and his single mother and a 12-year-old girl and her university professor father. Phil Rose, Lisa Gillan and Sukee Chew produced and Julia Roberts and Deepak Nayar executive produced. The film was financed by Reliance Entertainment and packaged by CAA, which negotiated the deal with eOne. Worldwide rights are being handled by IM Global. Read posts from the archive:
