Velvet Goldmine Blu-ray Coming Up December 13th

Lionsgate Films have revealed that they are planning a Blu-ray release of Todd Haynes’ Velvet Goldmine (1998), starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ewan McGregor, Toni Collette, Christian Bale and Eddie Izzard. Exact technical specs and region coding status for this release are unknown at the moment, but the preliminary release date set by the studio is December 13th. In 1998, the film was nominated for the prestigious Palme d’Or Award and won Best Artistic Contribution Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
