DVD NEWS: EVENING, LIKE MINDS, DIANA & ME
Posted: 2007-08-16

Three of Toni's films, both recent and older, will be released on DVD in the coming weeks:

EVENING (Out September 25 2007, USA)

Despite a once-in-a-lifetime cast featuring Meryl Streep, Vanessa Redgrave and Toni Collette, 'Evening' was a critical and commercial bust in theaters earlier this summer, barely scraping up a $15 million domestic gross. Universal will give the flick another shot on video September 25, when it debuts the HD DVD day-and-date with the standard-def DVD version. Extras include two behind-the-scenes featurettes, and deleted scenes.

DIANA & ME (Out August 27, Germany)
Well the good news is that "Diana and Me" releases on DVD on August 27, 2007 - the bad news for most of you might be that it's only released on the German market and with a German track only. Since the film never had a theatrical release after princess Diana's death in 1997, shortly before this comedy was about to hit theaters, this DVD release might be a good sign for further international releases as well. Can be pre-ordered at Amazon.de

MURDEROUS INTENT (AKA LIKE MINDS) (Out August 14 2007, USA)
Already released is the US DVD for "Like Minds", which has received an alternative title for the USA, "Murderous Intent" - an unrated psychological thriller about a forensic psychologist involved in a bizarre case involving the spirit of a dead boy and the friend who murdered him. The DVD can be ordered at Amazon.com.

VIDEO INTERVIEW: TONI IN FREEMANTLE
Posted: 2007-08-14

Here's a great in-depth video interview with Toni that was featured in the show "Peschardt's People". She chats with leading broadcaster and foreign correspondent Michael Peschardt in Fremantle during her recent trip to WA to promote her debut album Beautiful Awkward Pictures. They have lunch together with her band "The Finish", talk candidly about movie making and singing and also discuss the importance of conservation of the Ningaloo Reef. This is a great interview and a look behind the scenes, so be sure to watch it!
