Yesterday, Toni has been a guest on Live with Kelly & Michael to promote the US release of “A Long Way Down”. They also talked about this year’s 20th anniversary of “Muriel’s Wedding”, the just released “Lucky Them”, her teenage crush on Ralph Macchio and how it was working with Pierce Brosnan. It’s great to see Toni being so busy in film right now. Today, an international trailer for “Hector and the Search for Happiness” has been released, alongside with two production stills from the upcoming “Tammy”. And what a great surprise to see her film-husband in the image: “The Way, Way Back” director Nat Faxon. You can watch the trailer and new stills by clicking the previews below.

As you can see from the video archive, I’ve been on a crusade the last days to bring the video archive up to date. After “Hostages” and “Tara”, I wanted to add the few remaining videos, not knowing that there was so much left. So, over 50 new video clips have been added, ranging from the theatrical trailer for Toni’s very first film “Spotswood” to a film scene from the most recent “Lucky Them”. In between, there are clips for “Cosi”, “The Pallbearer” and “Clockwatchers”, many rare promotional interviews for “Emma”, “The Boys” and “The Night Listener” and lots of red carpet interviews, news segments and television specials. After bringing the video section for “Hostages” up to date (see previous update), I’ve added preview clips from all episodes of the three seasons of “United States of Tara”. That brings 36 new clips to the archive. This was such a wonderful small and odd show with fantastic performances by everyone involved. So sit back and enjoy a trip down Tara’s memory lanes.

Toni is currently promoting the theatrical release of “Lucky Them” in New York. It’s great to see that this small film gets a deserving spotlight in the media. Current appearances have included an interview on the Today Show and the aforementioned Watch What Happens Live! (unfortunately there’s only an excerpt since the full appearances hasn’t made its way online yet). There’s also a news segment from April, A New York Minute with Jill Martin, a scene from Lucky Them, a commercial for The Realistic Joneses, and an interview that Toni did for Concern Worldwide in 2012.
