The UK trailer for “Miss You Already” has been released, giving an extensive first look at Catherine Hardwicke’s comedy drama about two lifelong friends. Surprisingly, there’s a top billing for Toni, who plays the one half of the pair, opposite Drew Barrymore. “Miss You Already” will release UK theaters on September 25th. A US release date hasn’t been announced yet. Screencaptures from the trailer have been added as well.

It’s very quiet around Toni’s professional life right now, so I’m happy to have found something for the archives. Here comes an incredibly stupid E! Entertainment special entitled “Sex on the Great Barrier Reef”. For E! the Great Barrier Reef is all about sex, surf and celebrity – and for some reason “Diana and Me”. Both Toni Collette and Dominic West are interviewed about the film, which was shooting at the time. You can watch the clip in the video archive with a couple of captures being added to the photo gallery. Thanks to pannoni4 for the original upload.

The theatrical trailer for “Glassland” has been launched, featuring a lot of powerful new scenes with Jack Reynor and Toni Collette. The trailer makes you hope that the film will grab some spotlight and attention prior to its release later this year. Additionally, screencaptures have been added to the photo gallery.

A bunch of video clips of Toni’s promotional visit to Sundance earlier this month have been posted to the video archive, including a first clip from “Glassland”. Among the new videos is a lenghty appearance on Larry King Now. Together with director Gerard Barrett, she talks about the film and spills some news on exciting future projects. Toni will be appearing on the next season “Who Do You Think You Are” and will be appearing in the screen adaptation of Tim Winton’s “Dirt Music” later this year. While nothing more has been announced, it can be assumed she’ll be playing the female lead. Georgie, the heroine of the book, becomes fascinated in watching a stranger attempting to poach fish in an area where nobody can maintain secrets for very long; disillusioned with her relationship with the local fisherman legend Jim Buckridge, she contrives a meeting with the stranger and soon passion runs out of control between two bruised and emotionally fragile people.

Three new clips have been added to the video archive. First, a lenghty report on the Tribeca premiere of “Lucky Them”, including interviews with the cast and crew. Then, as the Australian Archive of Film and Sound has celebrated “Muriel’s Wedding” 20th annivery, they have published a deleted scene from the film as well as a rehearsal scene from the film. Great finds!
