Unbelievable but true! Five years ago, on October 16, 2005, Toni Collette Online has opened its doors – and is still there :-) Much has happened since then. As I remember the website was done just in time for the release of “In Her Shoes”. Since then,Toni has formed a band and went on tour, has given birth to a child and has headlined a successful television show, for which she has won a Golden Globe and Emmy Award. It’s been a blast to cover Toni’s career over the years – and this website will continue to do so. I have to say that most recently I’ve lost touch to it a little bit – Toni has remained a private and out of the spotlight person to my utmost respect, so there hasn’t been much to report despite the run of “United States of Tara”‘s second season. On the other hand, this just gives the proper time to bring the site back at what it was aimed for – the most complete archive for Toni’s fans. As you can see, just in time for the 5th celebration, the site has launched in a new layout, and in the coming days, all subsites will be converted and brought back for your browsing pleasure. Hundreds of new movie stills have been added to the Image Library – including production stills and behind the scenes shots from most of her films – ranging from the early “Muriel’s Wedding” to the most recent “Towelhead”. Click the previews below for all recently added pictures.

You can now find DVD screencaptures from the 2008 Australian comedy “Hey, Hey, It’s Esther Blueburger” in the Image Library. Toni plays the small role of Keisha Castle Hughes in this small – quite funny, quite weird – comedy. It deservingly won a 2008 AFI Award in the Best Young Actress catgory for Danielle Catanzariti. With this addition, the gallery is now completed with captures of all of Toni’s films! Enjoy :-)

I figured out it takes a bit longer to fully convert the site’s content to the new script I’m using, so instead of letting you look at pretty much nothing, all site content is back up as it was before the move. There might be some bugs here and there, but in time everything will return to its old form :-)

Toni Collette Online has been off the air the last two days due to a server change. We are now hosted by the fantastic Flaunt Network and Toni Collette Online will be taking advantage of their great services. A streaming video archive is on the way, the all-new Image Library can be already accessed. And since the site is now powered by WordPress, you can easily browse updates, write comments and much more.
