No emmy nomination for Toni

Unfortunately, Toni has not received an Emmy nomination this morning for the third and final season of “United States of Tara”. The category for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series includes Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Tina Fey (30 Rock), Laura Linney (The Big C, a deserving winner in my opinion ;-), Melissa McCarthy (Mike and Molly), Martha Plimpton (Raising Hope) and Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation). Nevertheless, Toni has won her Emmy already in 2009 for “Tara”, so things could be worse ;-)

Diablo Cody on United States of Tara’s Cancellation

What the hell happened? The show is good! We spoke with Cody to get her take on what went wrong (beyond low ratings), how she’s taking the news, and where she is with her next two feature films. New York Magazine’s complete interview with Cody can be read here.
