The New York premiere of “Hitchcock” will be held today, November 18, at the Ziegfeld Theater. Chances are good that Toni will attend since she has been announced as a guest on “The Talk” on November 21, means she’ll be on hand in the USA to promote the film. Expect pictures from the premiere and coverage on her talkshow appearance later.

With “Hitchcock”s US release coming next week, more and more images emerge from the film. Two new pictures featuring Toni – one in Hitch’s shadow (true to her character I guess) and a great image with Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren – have been added to the image library, alongside a new poster for the film from the Netherlands. A new production still from the upcoming “Hitchcock” has been released. In it, Toni Collette is featured as Hitch’s assistant Peggy Robertson, framed by Michael Stuhlbarg as Lew Wasserman and Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock. Robertson, a long-time collaborator of the director, is said to be responsible in tracing the “Psycho” book and bringing it to Hitchcock’s attention. The film will be theatrically released in the USA on November 23 and co-stars Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel.
