One June 07, stage and screen legend Shirley MacLaine was lauded with the 40th annual AFI Life Achievement Award – the highest honor for a career in film. Some of Hollywood’s most revered luminaries turned out to pay tribute to one of America’s most beloved artists. The gala was taped at historic Stage 15 at Sony Pictures Studios last evening and will air on TV Land on June 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Among the many guests present to honor MacLaine were Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Toni Collette, Carrie Fisher, Peter Fonda, Marcia Gay Harden and Tom Skerritt.
